What is Proposition 65?
California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as Proposition 65 (Cal. Health & Safety Code § 25249.6 et seq.), requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that the State has listed as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list, maintained by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), contains approximately 900 chemicals and is updated regularly.
A Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe when used as directed. It means the product may expose users to one or more listed chemicals above certain thresholds.
How this applies to ADINOX products
Whether a specific ADINOX product requires a Proposition 65 warning is determined product by product, based on its formulation and the applicable safe-harbor levels. The authoritative source of hazard information for each product is its Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Information for distributors
Distributors and resellers serving California may be responsible for transmitting Proposition 65 warnings to their customers, as agreed in writing with us and to the extent provided by Cal. Code Regs. tit. 27 § 25600.2. Contact us before reselling ADINOX products to California consumers so the applicable warning obligations can be coordinated for the specific products involved.
Safe handling
Always read the SDS and product label before use. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear the personal protective equipment specified in the SDS. Avoid skin and eye contact and inhalation of vapors. Keep out of reach of children. Store and dispose of in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
