How to Use ADINOX M330?
Surface Preparation
- Wear gloves and protective eyewear - work in a well-ventilated area
- Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and oil
- Degrease with ADINOX® DS 400 - clean mechanically or chemically if needed, then dry completely
Prepare the Adhesive
- Purge a small amount of each component without the mixing nozzle
- Attach the 1:1 mixing nozzle securely and insert the cartridge into the application gun
- Purge again with the nozzle installed, then apply a continuous, uniform bead without stopping
Bond and Cure
- Join parts within the 4 - 6 min open time - apply constant, uniform pressure
- After the 10 - 12 min working time (~70% cure), do not move the parts
- Full cure in 24 h at 77°F - remove the nozzle and clean the cartridge outlet horizontally

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ADINOX M330 methacrylate adhesive for galvanized steel?
ADINOX M330 is a methacrylate adhesive for galvanized steel: an advanced, two-component (1:1) toughened structural adhesive for high-strength bonding of metals, with exceptional performance on galvanized and zinc-coated surfaces.
Can M330 bond galvanized and zinc-coated metal?
Yes. M330 has been evaluated on G60, G70 and G90 galvanized grades, achieving lap shear above 1,886 PSI with cohesive failure. Because coatings vary in thickness, treatment and passivation, users should verify performance on their specific substrate.
What is the mix ratio of M330?
M330 uses a 1:1 mix ratio by volume and by weight, dispensed through a static mixing nozzle from a dual cartridge, with a 4-6 minute open time and 10-12 minute working time.
How strong is M330?
As a high strength methacrylate adhesive, M330 delivers tensile strength of 3,191-3,771 PSI (ASTM D 638) and lap shear above 2,321 PSI on steel, stainless steel and aluminum, with cohesive failure.
What gap can M330 fill?
M330 fills gaps up to 0.29 in and is available with glass bead spacers — making it a glass bead structural adhesive option for uniform bond-line thickness on irregular joints.
What is the service temperature range?
This methacrylate adhesive for galvanized steel performs from -40 to 180°F when cured, retaining cohesive failure performance across the range.
Does M330 need surface preparation?
This methacrylate adhesive for galvanized steel requires minimal to no preparation — surfaces only need to be clean, dry and free of grease or oil. For demanding applications, degrease with ADINOX DS 400.
How does this methacrylate adhesive for galvanized steel compare to other 1:1 systems?
M330 combines a convenient 1:1 mix ratio with toughened, low-odor chemistry and proven adhesion to galvanized metal, offering a direct alternative for zinc-coated and coated sheet-metal bonding programs.
Is M330 resistant to chemicals and weathering?
Yes. After 30-day immersion (ASTM D 1002, Al/Al), M330 retains over 2,900 PSI against gasoline, xylene, 10% acetic acid, HD-30 oil, kerosene and hot water, and gains strength after the 30-day environmental cycle.
