About ADINOX M305 1:1 Methacrylate Adhesive









ADINOX® M305 is a 1:1 methacrylate adhesive — a two-component, 100% reactive, toughened structural adhesive from the ADINOX Serie M line. With a convenient 1:1 mix ratio and fast cure, it bonds metals, thermoset and thermoplastic substrates, and composite materials with minimal surface preparation.

As a rapid cure structural adhesive, M305 reaches handling strength in 12 to 15 minutes and full cure in 24 hours at room temperature. Its thixotropic, non-sagging formulation delivers strong resistance to impact, peel, thermal cycling and a broad range of chemicals — ideal for high-volume assembly lines in automotive components, electrical enclosures, trailer boxes and metal furniture, where fixture speed is a priority.

Gap Filling - Minimal Surface Preparation

  • Gap filling up to 0.275 in for irregular joints and oversized bond lines
  • Thixotropic, non-sagging - will not run on vertical surfaces
  • Direct adhesion on most substrates - minimal surface preparation required

How to Use ADINOX M305?









Surface Preparation

  • Wear gloves and protective eyewear - work in a well-ventilated area
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and oil
  • Degrease with ADINOX® DS 400 - clean mechanically or chemically if needed, then dry completely




Prepare the Adhesive

  • Purge a small amount of each component without the mixing nozzle
  • Attach the 1:1 mixing nozzle securely and insert the cartridge into the application gun
  • Purge again with the nozzle installed, then apply a continuous, uniform bead without stopping

Bond and Cure

  • Join parts within the 4 - 6 min open time - apply constant, uniform pressure
  • After the 12 - 15 min working time (~70% cure), do not move the parts
  • Full cure in 24 h at 77°F - remove the nozzle and clean the cartridge outlet horizontally

M305 fills gaps up to 0.275 in (7 mm), making it suitable for irregular joints and oversized bond lines without sagging on vertical surfaces.

What is the service temperature range?

Cured M305 performs from -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C), retaining cohesive failure performance through thermal cycling.

Does M305 need surface preparation?

Minimal preparation is required — surfaces only need to be clean, dry and free of grease or oil. For demanding applications, degrease with ADINOX DS 400.
