ADHESIS, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("ADHESIS", "ADINOX", "we", "us", or "our"), operates the website www.adinoxadhesives.com (the "Site") and the ADINOX brand of industrial adhesives. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit the Site, request a quote, contact us about becoming a distributor, or otherwise interact with our brand.

By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"):

  • Identifiers — name, business email address, business phone number, company name, job title, mailing address, IP address, online identifiers, cookie IDs.
  • Commercial information — products of interest, quote requests, distributor application data, purchasing history of any affiliated entity that resells our products.
  • Internet or network activity — browsing history on the Site, search queries, pages viewed, referring URL, device type, browser type, time stamps, interactions with marketing emails.
  • Geolocation data — approximate location derived from IP address (city/region level only).
  • Professional or employment-related information — your role, industry, application use case for our adhesives.
  • Inferences — preferences and predictions drawn from the categories above (e.g., product interest, industry segment).

Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health information, or sex life / sexual orientation information. If you provide such data voluntarily (for example, in the body of a contact form), we will make reasonable efforts to delete it.

2. Sources of Information

  • Directly from you — when you fill out the Distributor Inquiry form, request a quote, subscribe to our newsletter, or email us.
  • Automatically — through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Third parties — service providers (analytics, advertising platforms, email marketing platforms), publicly available business directories, trade show registrations you authorize.
  • Affiliates — companies in our corporate group may share business contact data with us as part of our group operations.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries, quote requests, and distributor applications.
  • To evaluate prospective distributors and partners.
  • To send marketing emails about ADINOX products, technical content, and trade events (with your consent where required by law; you may unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve the Site, measure traffic, and conduct analytics.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including export controls (EAR/OFAC screening) and tax reporting.
  • To enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers and processors — website hosting, CRM, email marketing platforms, analytics providers, security services (spam and bot protection), legal counsel, accounting firms. These vendors are bound by contracts limiting their use of your information.
  • Affiliates — companies in our corporate group, for order fulfillment, technical support, and product development purposes.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms — Google, through Google Analytics and embedded YouTube videos; their cookies are set only after you choose "I agree" in our cookie banner. These activities may constitute "sharing" or "sale" of personal information under the CCPA. See Section 8 for your opt-out rights.
  • Authorities — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, the use of Google Analytics and YouTube cookies may be considered "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. You have the right to opt out — see Section 8.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. For details on what cookies we use and how to change your choice, see our Cookie Policy.

The Site uses Google Analytics. To learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, visit policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you choose "I agree" in our cookie banner, Google may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites through these cookies; if you choose "Only essentials", they are not set. The Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals or the Global Privacy Control — see Section 5 of our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods:

  • Distributor inquiries — 36 months from last interaction if no business relationship results; 7 years from the last transaction otherwise.
  • Marketing email list — until you unsubscribe, plus 24 months for suppression-list compliance.
  • Web analytics — up to 14 months (Google Analytics 4 data-retention setting).
  • Cookies — varies by cookie; see Cookie Policy.
  • Tax / accounting records — 7 years under applicable state and federal law.
  • Backup copies — may persist for a limited period (up to three months) after deletion from active systems.

7. Your Privacy Rights — General

Subject to applicable law and verification, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100 et seq.), as amended by the CPRA, provides you with the following rights:

8.1 Notice at Collection

The categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use them, and the categories of third parties we share with are disclosed in Sections 1, 3, and 4 above.

8.2 Right to Know

8.4 Right to Correct

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

8.5 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Our use of Google Analytics and YouTube cookies may be considered "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out:

8.6 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services. Therefore, this right is not actionable in practice, but you may still submit a request to limit any such use.

8.7 Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right.

8.8 Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We require written permission signed by you, plus identity verification for both you and the agent.

To verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm two or three data points we already have on file (e.g., email address used, company name, last interaction). For sensitive requests (deletion of all data), we may require additional verification.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes.

9. Other US State Privacy Rights

If you reside in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Texas), you may have rights similar to those described in Section 7 — including confirming whether we process your personal data, access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data — to the extent those laws apply to our processing.

Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by emailing info@adinoxadhesives.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal". We will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

You may exercise applicable opt-out rights through our cookie banner or by emailing info@adinoxadhesives.com.

10. International Data Transfers

Personal information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in countries other than your own, including countries where our affiliates and service providers operate.

Where transfers occur, we require our affiliates and service providers to protect your personal information consistently with this Policy and applicable law.

11. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Site is intended for industrial and business users and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has provided personal information should contact info@adinoxadhesives.com.

12. Sector Disclosures

We are not a financial institution covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and not a "video tape service provider" under the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA). Those statutes do not apply to our processing.

13. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge the inherent risk of transmitting information over the internet.

14. Data Breach Notification

If we experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities within the timelines required by the data-breach notification laws of your state of residence.
