About A730

This two-component, cure-on-demand structural adhesive is chemically initiated with ADINOX 787, eliminating the need for mixing. Its composition provides high strength and chemical resistance. It is ideal for bonding ferrites, metals, plastics, and other industrial materials.

ADINOX A730 is the ideal choice for tool handles, home appliances, sports equipment and decorative trims. This adhesive delivers strong mechanical performance, excellent impact resistance and reliable adhesion in challenging industrial environments.

Its medium viscosity makes it ideal for vertical or overhead applications and it can withstand service temperatures of up to 200°C (392°F). To activate bonding and ensure proper curing, the use of the ADINOX A787 initiator is required.

How to use ADINOX A730?

1. SURFACE PREPARATION

Before starting the application, always wear the appropriate safety equipment (gloves and protective eyewear) and work in a well-ventilated area.

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are free of dust, grease, oil and moisture, as any contaminants can affect the adhesive's performance.

If necessary, clean the surfaces mechanically or chemically according to the substrate, then allow them to dry completely before application.

2. BONDING AND CURING

The standard No-Mix application procedure consists of working each component separately.

Apply the initiator evenly to only one of the surfaces, making sure to cover the bonding area without exceeding the recommended amount.

On the opposite surface, apply the adhesive, forming a continuous and uniform bead.

Once both components have been applied, join the surfaces immediately, ensuring contact between the adhesive and the activated surface.

Open time: The period during which the mixed adhesive can be applied and handled before it begins to cure.

Working time: The period during which the mixed adhesive reaches approximately 70% of its cure. From this point onwards, it is no longer possible to move the parts without affecting the bond.

Leave the parts to rest completely.
